Innovation Forum is a fully custom WordPress theme, built from scratch around the organization’s content and its conference programme.
Every page is assembled from building blocks, so editors can create and rearrange pages freely while the design stays consistent.
Events are the heart of the site. Each event is a custom post type with multiple subpages, and each one is presented as its own microsite with its own custom menu, so visitors get a focused experience for every conference.
Managing all of that is simple. Each event has a dedicated agenda section in the admin where start and end times are calculated automatically, so editors enter the sessions and the schedule works itself out. Events appear in the admin in a cascading layout that opens and closes, which keeps even a large programme easy to manage.
