London, UK

The research-based pharmaceutical industry, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the US and UK governments, international organisations, endemic countries’ national governments, and others met to combine efforts against NTDs.

Joining with these global health partners, the research-based pharmaceutical industry pledges 14 billion treatments to help end nine NTD. For maximum impact against NTDs, these donations are focused on meeting new WHO targets and build on industry’s long‐standing record of innovating treatments for neglected tropical diseases.
