HYPER | Healthcare: Youth Perspectives. EmpoweRed — is a platform serving to mobilize, equip, and connect young representatives in the life-science industry. HYPER aims at empowering young professionals by increasing their exposure to and understanding of global health issues. By doing so, it leverages and reinforces the culture of networking and enables young professionals to share their stories and learn from each other. HYPER provides transformative learning experiences that build the capacity of young people to lead change in public health and sustainability.
The platform focuses on various key areas, including sustainability of health systems, strengthening of regulatory systems, vaccines policy, entrepreneurship, access to medicines, combating antimicrobial resistance, and advocacy in global health. HYPER leverages the voice of young professionals and helps global health policies evolve in a youth friendly and sustainable direction.
HYPER has three main objectives:
- Empowering young people in the biopharmaceutical industry by increasing their exposure to and understanding of global health issues.
- Reinforcing the culture of networking and enabling young people in the biopharmaceutical industry to share their stories and learn from each other.
- Foster a better understanding and awareness of the biopharmaceutical industry contribution to global health to support industry’s youth dialogue with their peers.
