Vaccines are a key part of the ambition for Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Immunization not only saves lives and improves health, it also unlocks the potential of the community. By combining efforts, national policymakers, the vaccines industry and wider global health and development community can enable national immunization systems to be strengthened, expanded and sustained. Without successful immunization programs, the benefits of vaccine innovation will not be fully realized. Every day, the leading global vaccines manufacturers are striving to achieve collective global health and development goals through research-led innovation.
In this Thought Leader Series on Vaccines, IFPMA invites key opinion leaders to advance thinking and ideas on key issues that can drive efforts to allow the “miracle” of life-saving vaccines to reach all.
Insights will be shared on different themes including:
- Sustaining support for immunization
- Towards life-course vaccination
- Building vaccine confidence
- Collaboration and partnership
- Delivering the Addis Declaration
